UMO is a website for anyone between the ages of 13 and 25. Here you can find answers to questions about sex, health and relationships.

On you can find information about your body, sex, alcohol and drugs, self-esteem, depression and more. You can get answers to your questions or concerns about anything, as well as new ideas on how to think about your life.

Anyone between the ages of 13 and 25 can ask Ask UMO personal questions about sex, health and relationships. Your questions will be answered by somebody who works at UMO or at a youth guidance centre. When you ask UMO a question, you are anonymous. You can also read answers to many common questions on Ask UMO.

If you want to contact a youth guidance centre, you can search UMO's list of addresses and phone numbers for all the youth centres in the country.

Also available on UMO: provides different kinds of media: texts, videos and slideshows. You can also have the text read aloud and adjust the font size. Accessibility is important to UMO. Texts should be easy to read, in short sentences without complicated words.

UMO's goal is that you should feel that UMO is a site for you, no matter who you are, what background you have or what part of the country you live in.

UMO aims to offer information and inspiration to help young people to manage their own situation: at home, in relationships, in school or at work. Knowing their rights and their obligations helps them to make decisions about how they want to live. UMO wants everyone to feel that this home page is for them, no matter who they are. Conventional norms are questioned and discussed.

UMO is run by Stockholm County Council, at the request of Cehis - Center for eHealth in Sweden - and works together with youth guidance centres, student health and organizations like RFSU, RFSL Youth, BRIS and many others. UMO also works with young people who read the texts and offer suggestions and viewpoints. 

The content of UMO is in Swedish and at this time no material has been translated into other languages.
